Ginna Kelly

Ginna Kelly is Aspen’s Green Girl. 

Ginna is the Vice President & Attorney for the American Renewable Energy Institute. Ginna is the Co-Founder and Host of the Green Girl Minute where she has interviewed environmental leaders such as President Jose Maria Figueres, Bill McKibben, T. Boone Pickens, General Wesley Clark, and Amory Lovins.

Ginna is the Founder of the non-profit organization, Climb for Conservation, whose mission is to climb mountains around the world for critical conservation causes.  The kick-off climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2012 includes a group of ‘green girls’ who are climbing to raise awareness about species extinction and put a spotlight on the critically endangered African Black Rhino. 

Ginna has a Law Degree from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy & Planning from Virginia Tech. Ginna was a law clerk at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.   Ginna likes to snowboard, hike, and spend time on her farm.
